CMC iMaging has been converting files since 1972.
Today there are 3 common types of conversion:
     -Physical
     -Digital
     -Legacy

‘Physical Conversions’ are from things you can touch. Items such as paper, drawings, microfilm, microfiche, jackets, index cards, and others. Conversion allows specific users to search for records across a network at the same time. It eliminates the tedious hours of time searching for images using a reader.

‘Digital Conversions’ are from files already in an unwanted digital form. Files such as TIF, JPG, PGN, BMP, PDF, and others converted to the desired format.

‘Legacy Conversions’ are for those older systems, required to access for reference. A library of documents taken from older systems eliminates the need to maintain them. Accounting, HR, and other datasets are output to indexed files and stored for reference.

Instead of using out-of-date software, access is thru an Open Library System. This allows all types of reference information to live in a single system. Users find one system easier to train on, easier to search. Reducing the number of systems to learn, maintain and upgrade reduces cost.

Where needed, Digital images are directly printed onto microfilm for archiving.
